Canadian rock legends Sloan will embark on a cross Canada 20th Anniversary Tour this spring. The tour is on the heels of their new release The Double Cross, being released May 5, which is a compilation of 20 years together as a band and ten albums with multiple hits.

Long-time Toronto scenesters who will always call Halifax home, Sloan is four distinct songwriting voices — guitarists Patrick Pentland and Jay Ferguson, bassist Chris Murphy and drummer Andrew Scott — that nonetheless form a cohesive collective. The Muchmusic and rock-radio regulars have always maintained strong ties to their indie roots, and have a soft spot for sweet sugar tunes. Although they are music vets who could easily coast on their “cred,” they continue to challenge themselves with each record.
