Calm Asa Coma released their debut album in 2009. After a string of opening slots for bands such as Arkells, Mother Mother and Lights, the band was chosen by X92.9 FM, Calgary’s Rock Alternative station, as the 2010 Xposure contest winners. The band’s momentum continued as they opened for a range of successful acts including the likes of Metric, Hollerado and Young The Giant.

After 2 years of recording, Calm Asa Coma will release their sophomore album entitled, In English, on Michael Bernard Fitzgerald’s label, Lazers and Danger. They’re looking forward to spending the rest of 2012 on stage, which is where they feel most at home
